The Persian poet Tabrizi says:
آهن وفولاد از یک کوره میآید برون
آن یکی شمشیر گردد دیگرش نعل خر است
“Iron and Steel exit from the same Furnace:
One of them transforms into a Sword,
and the other one to a donkey’s hoof!”
All humans are made of the same flesh and bones, yet some of them become noble and some a disgrace.
